“Globally, 81% of adolescents (aged 11-17 years) do not meet the WHO global recommendations on physical activity for health... The number of overweight children has increased from 32 million globally in 1990 to 41 million in 2016.“

What might be a solution that will add fun and interesting ways to help children and teenagers move more in their daily routine?
For children and teenagers to grow up healthy, it is especially important to help them be physically active. Studies show that it can be a challenge for them to participate in enough daily physical activities as they get older. This could be due to the increasing demands of school, use of technology, urbanization, hectic schedules and adopting sedentary behaviours. Children and teenagers should spend more time in physical activities such as walking, cycling, taking part in games and sports, dancing, and recreation. When they are healthy, emotionally and physically fit, they are better able to build resilience when facing life’s challenges, make good choices, and develop positive attitudes and habits. Can you come up with interesting, easy and fun ways to encourage children and teenagers to move more in their daily routine?
